Every Sunday 9:00am Traditional 11:15am Contemporary
About
Our Church
The Germantown United Methodist Church
congregation is dynamic and diverse. It
has these qualities for many reasons.
First, the GUMC offers two different styles
of worship. At the 9am service, you can
worship traditionally in our beautiful Cherry
Street sanctuary. At 11:15am you can
attend our contemporary service, which is more
casual and includes contemporary Christian
music.
Second, our congregation is diverse because of
a merger of two Methodist churches in
Germantown just a few short years ago.
We still use both churches for worship, but
look forward to moving into a new beautiful
church on our 17-acre complex on Farmersville
Pike. We are in the early stages of this
exciting process. The new church complex
will be an important component to our growing
ministries. The Church regularly has
more than 40 groups
meeting in one of our facilities on a weekly
basis. Examples of a few of our
affiliated groups and ministries include
prayer groups, men and women's Bible studies,
high school and middle school youth groups,
adult choir, contemporary service praise band,
Sunday school, Mothers of Pre-schoolers (MOPS)
and a supper club that allows church members
and others to form closer bonds. We look
forward to seeing you at one of our services
or activities soon!
